The Public Affairs Executive will support Bacta’s government relations and communications activity.
Specific tasks will include:
- undertaking political monitoring and research;
- undertaking stakeholder mapping;
- delivering engagement programmes;
- organising events is Parliament;
- drafting responses to Government consultation documents and/or Parliamentary calls for evidence;
- campaigning using traditional and social media;
- representing Bacta in stakeholder events.
Required Skills
- Degree in politics, public policy or a related field;
- Excellent verbal and written skills;
- Strong research and analytical skills;
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team;
- Ability to quickly to become proficient in new subject areas or tasks;
- Good organisational and time management skills, and proven ability to deliver high quality work within deadlines;
- Enthusiasm and determination.
Reporting
The Public Affairs Executive will report to Bacta’s Executive Director.
Salary
Up to £30k pa, Initial appointment for 6 months.
