We have an opportunity for a committed PR professional who is looking for their next step. You will focus on corporate, customer and public communication campaigns to deliver effective engagement programmes and become a reliable, trusted contact for our clients.
We expect you will already have good working knowledge of corporate communications, public relations, marketing communications and perhaps also crisis communications. You will have helped create, plan and deliver impactful communication campaigns, and you will be used to establishing and maintaining strong client relationships, perhaps even contributing to strategy and tactical planning using your excellent data handling skills and media fluency.
Keeble Brown operates a hybrid remote working model, with frequent office days in Central London. Regular face-to-face meetings and site visits across the country are an essential part of the role.

As an account manager, you will:
- Help lead and maintain client relationships – acting as a trusted point of contact, ensuring clients are consistently updated through KPI reporting and face-to-face meetings. Work with colleagues to ensure that billing and accounts are accurate and timely;
- Build and drive effective communications strategies – understanding clients’ business goals and objectives, you will devise appropriate and effective marketing communications strategies, establishing key stakeholder segmentation, budget financials and resources, own and drive actions and monitor delivery and reporting;
- Engage diverse stakeholders – as part of the delivery of effective communications strategies you will regularly engage with stakeholders, including national and local politicians, civil servants, journalists, residents, and community representatives. You will build a wide stakeholder network;
- Create a range of content – using creative content to support programmes and achieve strategic goals. You will have the confidence and ability to develop effective and engaging materials such as social and web content, press releases, newsletters, blogs, and social media posts with pace, clarity and precision;
- Monitor and interpret sector developments – tracking trends in our focus sectors: social housing , the built environment and rail infrastructure and developing an in depth understanding of the UK’s political, planning, building safety, customer and social housing regulatory environments to confidently and knowledgeably provide relevant insights;
- Coordinate client events – from taking a leading role in the delivery and hosting of events and exhibitions to drafting targeted agendas and briefings and the delivery of objectives on the day you will be a proactive member of the team;
- Contribute to business growth – proactively identifying new opportunities and support client retention and new business acquisition.
Essential skills:
- A proven talent for written communications, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to quickly adapt style and tone for different audiences;
- Demonstrated experience in corporate communications, building effective integrated marketing communication strategies targeting our clients’ communities, customers, and stakeholders;
- Fluency in online digital marketing strategies;
- Proactive approach to managing competing deadlines;
- Good knowledge of at least one of the following sectors: affordable housing, specialist accommodation such as student or retirement, planning and development, local government, public transport, especially rail;
- Confident with Microsoft 365 and Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Project;
- Experience with online digital platforms, social media, content management systems (e.g., WordPress), and digital marketing tools such as Transpond;
- Experience using a client relationship management system for example Dynamics or Capsule;
- Strong interpersonal skills, comfortable engaging with a range of stakeholders and multi-disciplinary project teams.
Desirable skills:
Experience with project management practice;
Experience using AI tools and a keen interest in expanding knowledge in this area.
About you:
You will have proven experience in addition to your academic background in either media & communications or marketing. Your work experience will most likely have been in house with a housing provider or developer or with a communications or public affairs agency with a focus on stakeholder management.
Ideally you will be a member of an appropriate professional body like the Chartered Institute of Marketing or the Chartered Institute of Public Relations.

Salary and benefits:
- Range £28,000 to £30,000 per year depending on experience;
- Flexible hybrid working policy with time split between working remotely and from a London-based office;
