PoliMonitor is expanding, and with sustained growth in the content and services that we offer clients, the business is looking for a Content and Service Officer to help with supporting clients and producing tailored political content to help support them in their work. This role will work closely across the Content and Service offerings at PoliMonitor, engaging with clients to ensure their requirements are being met, and supporting the Content Editor and Head of Content and Service with the production of briefings and summaries of political events, as well as produce and update biographies on PoliMonitor’s new CRM service.

The Content and Service Officer will join a small and dynamic team, working closely in a collaborative environment across the Content, Service, and Commercial teams. The role will be based at our London office in Westminster with hybrid working arrangements.
Responsibilities
- Support the Content Editor with the production of summaries of parliamentary committees, as well as summaries of major speeches, policy announcements and debates;
- Create and update biographies on PoliMonitor’s CRM platform;
- Support in the production of ad-hoc briefings and analysis of major political events, such as the Budget and major reshuffles;
- Support the Service team with the onboarding and continued support of new and existing clients, responding to queries in a timely manner.
Essential attributes
- An excellent understanding of UK politics and the political system;
- An excellent command of the English language, grammar, spelling and punctuation;
- Excellent attention to detail;
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to deliver to deadlines;
- Ability to work both self-sufficiently and as part of a team;
- An interest in politics and current affairs;
- Good presentation skills;
- Experience of InDesign and similar tools would be beneficial;
- IT literate with an ability to utilise Outlook, Word and Excel effectively;
- Proven experience in a public affairs or political research role would be beneficial.
