Fossil Free London is a growing, dynamic organisation and climate campaign group.

We need people who are deeply driven to organise climate action, so we can make urgent change, whilst being highly professional and able to deliver time and again.

We are an energetic and welcoming grassroots organisation which opposes the presence of fossil fuel companies and fossil fuel finance in our city, and explores what London could be without them. We execute a range of creative, disruptive and accessible protest actions in the city, with a focus on bringing new activists into the climate movement and amplifying our impact through social media and the news.

We are now seeking a flexible, highly organised candidate to support Fossil Free London with digital campaigning, to help grow our community, and support our committee of volunteers to organise against the fossil fuel industry. This role’s main objective is to reach a wider audience beyond Instagram, our current main source of outreach, to attract new volunteers and further expand our membership through student fairs, local London Festivals and more. The role’s focus may evolve in the coming months as the next phase of the organisation’s strategy develops.

You are suited to this role if you are a proactive self-starter who is also able to work under direction. You will have relevant experience of working in a fast-paced environment and communicating effectively to complete shared work. You are an adept facilitator of meetings with strong interpersonal skills. You are also confident in using a range of media to achieve campaign goals.
