The PubAffairs network numbers over 4,000 members and is free to join. PubAffairs operates a general e-Newsletter, as well as a number of other specific group e-Newsletters which are also available to join by completing our registration form.

We are looking to recruit an Account Executive on to our fast track management programme that offers rapid promotion to the successful applicant. You should have an excellent academic track record (minimum 2.1 undergraduate degree and minimum ABB at A Level or equivalent).

You must also have experience working in one or more of the following roles:

  • researcher to a UK MP/MSP/MS/MLA;
  • researcher to a UK political party;
  • a public affairs/relations agency focused on energy work;
  • inhouse for an energy focused business or charity.

A strong interest in UK energy policy is desirable. Excellent verbal and written skills are essential.

Typical duties include: political and media monitoring, stakeholder mapping, policy research, stakeholder engagement programme delivery, stakeholder messaging development, and select committee training support.
