Our business is growing and we are looking to for an engaged and experienced new team member to oversee the day to day management of client accounts in our Planning team, identify issues which affect our clients, and help to develop new business.

We have an exciting opportunity for an Account Executive to join our Communities and Placemaking team, specialising in genuine community engagement and communications. The team works across the Built Environment sector improving relationships between developers and the communities where they operate.

The successful applicant will have:

  • Excellent writing and communication skills;
  • The willingness and ability to work under your own initiative;
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment;
  • Being a team player, willing to pitch in wherever needed across a range of projects and teams;
  • Being personable, able to relate to and empathise with residents, stakeholders and politicians;
  • Client management abilities;
  • Full UK driving license;
  • Flexibility to occasionally work evenings and weekends – time off in-lieu will be given.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Project support including some client lead work;
  • Supporting the delivery of community and stakeholder engagement programmes by drafting materials, organising meetings and managing event logistics;
  • Staffing events - engaging with residents through community events and door-knocking sessions;
  • Being a point of contact for stakeholders, inbox and telephone management and drafting responses;
  • Personal development including attending relevant PRCA-led training programmes;
  • Writing research reports, press releases and social media monitoring;
  • Supporting Account Managers and Directors with Business Development activities and developing your own network.
