Established in January 2002, PubAffairs is the premier network and leading resource for the public affairs, government relations, policy and communications industry.

The PubAffairs network numbers over 4,000 members and is free to join. PubAffairs operates a general e-Newsletter, as well as a number of other specific group e-Newsletters which are also available to join by completing our registration form.

The PubAffairs e-Newsletters are used to keep members informed about upcoming PubAffairs events and networking opportunities, job vacancies, public affairs news, training courses, stakeholder events, publications, discount offers and other pieces of useful information related to the public affairs and communications industry.

PubAffairs EU

PubAffairs EU

PubAffairs EU is the network for any UK or EU-based practitioners working in European public affairs and engaging with the European Union Institutions, as well as anyone with an interest in EU affairs. The network is free to join, simply sign up to receive the PubAffairs EU e-Newsletter.

Founded in Brussels

PubAffairs EU finds its origins in Brussels, where the PubAffairs group founded PubAffairs Brussels in 2003. PubAffairs Brussels operated for the best part of five years, organising a monthly networking event enabling European public affairs practitioners to exchange ideas and network with their peers.

Responding to the growing interest from members engaging in EU public affairs activity, the PubAffairs group reinvigorated the former PubAffairs Brussels network as PubAffairs EU in February 2014. The relationship between the UK and the EU is more relevant than ever. Forty years after the UK's accession to the EU, the British people voted to quit the country's membership of the bloc in the June 2016 referendum. Networking events enable PubAffairs EU members to exchange ideas, discuss topical issues relating to Brexit and network with fellow EU public affairs, policy and communications practitioners.

PubAffairs EU networking events

PubAffairs EU events present an opportunity for informal cross-sectoral peer-to-peer networking, bringing together practitioners with an EU focus in their communications role, to exchange experiences, share advice and discuss topical issues.

The inaugural PubAffairs EU event took place in February 2014 and we hold four events per year. You can view all upcoming events online here.
