Public Affairs professional. For the last 9 years I’ve been running my own boutique consultancy - Riverside Communications - following a stint as a spokesperson in the European Parliament and as a political adviser for the Lib Dems.

I returned to Interel in May 2014 as a consultant, having previously completed a university placement year here in 2010. Now a senior consultant, I specialise in supporting technology and consumer companies with their public affairs strategies. I have also worked for a PR agency and completed internships in Parliament and with Essex County Council.

I started my career working for an influential Irish politician before taking up a position with Amnesty International USA in San Francisco within the media and campaigns department. Following a move to London, I led campaigns and policy for European Movement UK, policy and public affairs at the REC and currently head up EU/International Affairs at the FSB.

I’ve worked in public affairs and communications roles at EU and UK level in the public and private sectors for the past six years. Following a stint with the European Parliament’s communications directorate, I spent 3 years with a major trade body in Brussels before moving to London.

A few years in local government and central government, and then straight into agency life where I have largely remained since 1999. My only diversion has been to an in-house role for a renewable energy developer, but returned to be a freelance consultant and then my current MD role.

After a brief stint in public affairs, I spent eight years in the Treasury and European Commission, including working for three years as the private secretary to a Government Minister. I then went to work for MHP Communications and moved to Interel in 2014 to head up their financial services practice.

I went to university a few years later than most and whilst studying I undertook several internships including at Dods, Macmillan Cancer Support and ABTA. After graduation I worked at Munro & Foster before taking a policy job at the British Orthopaedic Association. I joined Whitehouse in November 2014, where I work on clients across health and education sectors.

I started my career in the insurance industry and spent 5 years there before going to university. After graduating I did research and comms for a family support charity. Then I moved to London to head up BYC’s policy and public affairs team before moving to TfL to build its stakeholder engagement team and transform its external relationships. I’ve been there for 7 years.

Nick was an Account Director at Heathcroft Communications before it was acquired by Teneo in February 2013. He started his career working in the European Parliament for an MEP and since gained considerable years of experience of public affairs work with previous roles at Financial Dynamics (FD) and Gardant Communications.

Worked in Parliament for five years. Branch Secretary of Parliamentary T&G branch. Founding partner of Raynsford and Morris, Head of Government Affairs and Associate Director at GCI. Managing Director of Connect and GPC Connect and then Connect Public Affairs. Owner and Chief Executive of Connect Communications and former Chair of the APPC.

After graduating from King’s, I joined the ICE and became Policy Manager. At Gatwick Airport, I focused on the EU and contributing to the campaign for a second runway. I then headed to the London Chamber, to head up the External Relations team and represent London business at a vital time as we approach the General and London Mayoral Elections.

I joined Hume Brophy in 2008 and became Managing Director London in 2013. Previously, I worked at a number of other communications agencies in London and at one of the large management consultancies. I also spent time at the European Commission, lectured in European Politics and Economics and co-founded a magazine in China.

Thirteen years as a career diplomat and over 25 years in consultancy. Co-founded Blueprint Partners in Brussels which was subsequently sold to FTI Consulting. Working on public affairs issues in Brussels for almost 20 years. First female President of the British Chamber of Commerce in Belgium in 102 years: awarded an OBE for services to British business in Belgium.

I represent the views of British farmers at the EU level. This involves working closely with the European Commission, Parliament and Council. A large proportion of regulation affecting agriculture comes from Brussels and it is my job to get the best possible deal for British farmers.

I started working as Marketing Executive for the Scottish Government before moving to the Scottish Civic Forum to be Development Officer. I then headed south and started as Development Manager at the Association for Citizenship Teaching in London and then joined the European Parliament Information Office.

I started my public affairs career in Brussels, working first in a consultancy (APCO Worldwide), then heading the Brussels office of a trade association representing large French businesses (AFEP), and finally making it to London within Eurostar.

I started lobbying on financial services, energy and defence issues at an independent consultancy in 2007, followed by roles as Senior Researcher for MPs Peter Bone & Sir Richard Shepherd. I also ran a small anti-human-trafficking organisation for a while, in my spare time, before heading up the public policy team at UKSIF from 2012.

I'm an external relations professional with expertise in public affairs, campaigning, public relations and strategic communications. I have experience in a range of sectors including corporate, agency, charity and professional body/trade union. I have worked on consumer, FMCG and business-to-business issues but specialise in healthcare.

I started my career as an intern in 10 Downing Street, working on PMQs. After jobs in engineering and tourism, I joined the Comms team at the London 2012 Organising Committee (LOCOG) for 5 years. After catching up on sleep, I delivered a private rail campaign and then secured the public affairs and EU brief at the FSB last summer.

I spent five years in the House of Commons working for Theresa May and John Redwood before joining The Whitehouse Consultancy in 2010.

Think tanker turned public affairs professional - and I run a non-profit in my spare time.

First job as Admin Executive in the Privy Council Office followed by other temporary positions in Whitehall to support myself through studies. I interned at the Foreign Policy Centre. After studies I began working for Keith Vaz MP for just over two years - first as the junior, then as the senior Parliamentary Officer...

Having developed my career mainly in the services departments of third sector organisations I have now taken on a broader role, finding myself very much a part of the policy and public affairs world. Communications and fundraising all have a part to play in my current role and I will continue to develop this knowledge.

Internships in Parliament and gaining valuable experience of how the day to day running of Westminster works. Briefly worked for the Third Sector and then used my Westminster knowledge to become a lobbyist for the CLA.

I've worked in and around Westminster for 9 years: as policy researcher at the Department for Work and Pensions, head of skills policy for think tank Policy Connect, and in public affairs for social enterprise Horsesmouth. I joined Save the Children as parliamentary adviser in 2009.

I started as a civil servant in Edinburgh before moving to a small consultancy in London with clients in Brussels. I moved to Edinburgh as a consultant before running communications in Scotland and Northern Ireland for a UK-wide NDPB. I am now a Director at a small but growing company in Edinburgh.
