The Whitehouse Consultancy, an issues-led communications agency with a team of more than 20 consultants, has announced a series of promotions and appointments following a sustained period of growth, following its recent move to new offices in London Bridge.
John Punter, previously a public affairs manager at Leonard Cheshire Disability, joined Whitehouse in September and has been appointed as Associate Director. Punter also worked as freelancer and for public affairs consultancy Interel UK. At Whitehouse, he leads on the firm’s public sector, health and education clients, alongside providing senior expertise to our clients’ needs in other policy sectors, ranging from housing to energy.
Sam Blainey has been promoted as Senior Political Consultant. He joined Whitehouse as an Associate Consultant in 2010, working as part of the agency’s specialist European team. Blainey advises clients on issues ranging from health, food and nutrition policy to foreign affairs and human rights. He also supports a number of our clients on EU engagement related to legislation on food supplements, sports food and diet foods.
Robert Ede has been promoted as Political Consultant. He joined the organisation in 2014 and is part of the energy and environment team. His role is focused on helping clients secure identified business objectives, through devising engagement strategies, providing policy insight and undertaking specific research tasks. Previously, Ede worked for a Conservative MP.
Finally, Rhiannon Sanders has also been appointed as Research Executive, having completed an internship with the Whitehouse team. Sanders previously worked in the office of Jonathan Djanogly and interned with Conservative think tank Bright Blue.
