Following double digit growth in 2015, Westminster Advisers has announced the hire of healthcare communications specialist Jenny Ousbey, to lead and grow its health practice.

Ousbey will take up the new post of Head of Health and Director in May, moving from her current role as Associate Director at Lexington Communications. Prior to this, she spent 18 months at the NHS Confederation following a stint with Paul Burstow MP where she was Minister's senior policy and political advisor on a range of health and social care issues. Ousbey also has extensive experience working with the political media, having worked for several years in journalism.

Ian Targett, Westminster Advisers’ current lead for health, is moving into an operations role within the company, which will be vital as the company expands. Westminster Advisers has also promoted John Clarke to the role of Associate Director, as a result of WA’s sustained growth in the healthcare and pharmaceuticals space.

Announcing the new roles, Dominic Church, Managing Director of Westminster Advisers said:

“We are absolutely delighted to be welcoming Jenny to the Westminster Advisers team. The health practice is going from strength to strength. We fully expect this to continue as a result of Jenny’s strategic insights into the health sector, as well as her strong track record in business development. We’re hugely excited to have her on the team.

We’re also hugely proud to be promoting John to the role of Associate Director. He has contributed enormously to the development of the health practice over the last 18 months, helping to secure high-profile client wins, and delivering outstanding advice to clients across the board.

I’m looking forward to working with Jenny, and to continuing to work with John, to make sure the health practice continues to deliver best in class advice to all our clients.”
