Westminster Advisers has announced the appointment of policy expert Ryan Shorthouse as a non-executive Board Adviser. He will support the team to deliver strategic advice for clients on areas of Conservative policy development and bolstering the organisation’s insights into the Conservative government.
Ryan Shorthouse founded and is now the Chief Executive of Bright Blue, an independent conservative think tank. Previously he worked as Research Fellow at the Social Market Foundation and as a Policy Adviser to the Conservative Party.
He has a wide network across the Conservative Party and particular policy expertise in education and social policy, and frequently appears as a political commentator on TV and radio. Alongside his role at Westminster Advisers, Ryan is a Visiting Fellow at the University of Bath and holds a number of advisory positions including at the National Council for Voluntary Organisations and as a trustee of the Young Women’s Trust.
