WA Health, the specialist healthcare arm of WA Communications, has announced the appointment of two new team members to bolster its growing practice.
The new hires come off the back of several high-profile clients wins for the agency and exceptional growth in 2017. The health practice will be continuing to work closely with WA’s Investor Services practice in 2018 to deliver market-based analysis and insight to healthcare companies and investors alike.
Sinéad Connor, Senior Account Manager, joins from a managerial role at the NHS Confederation where she led the mental health network for NHS Clinical Commissioners. She has previously worked for another agency and brings a forensic knowledge of NHS commissioning pathways.
Yasmin Sheikh joins from Huntsworth Health in a Health Analyst role. Sheikh is an expert in patient and HCP data, with an academic background in global health policy and immunology, who has worked on a number of award-winning campaigns in previous agency roles and brings with her an in-depth knowledge of the life sciences sector. She will also be working with WA’s Investor Services team to provide bespoke intelligence and healthcare market analysis to investors.
Both new hires bring significant expertise and experience in successfully overcoming the healthcare communications challenges faced by clients in 2018.
