Communications industry experts have united to offer free hands-on support to organisations on the Coronovirus frontline through the C19 Comms Volunteers initiative.
The scheme is open to any organisation involved in frontline health, social care, education, social housing or to charities directly supporting those affected by the virus.
Over 300 industry experts have signed up with C19 Comms Volunteers already advising the NHS, hospitals, food banks and charities supporting care in the community.
The programme offers support in any of the communications disciplines including PR, internal and external communications, public affairs and digital and can be easily accessed online at: https://www.c19commsvolunteers.com/
Simon Enright, Director of Communications - NHS England and NHS Improvement said:
"The COVID-19 pandemic has had an impact on every one of us and for communications professionals this scheme is a contribution to the national effort. I’m really grateful to all who volunteer, helping NHS facilities across the country. Please do think about joining the scheme."
An Ellwood Atfield spokesperson said:
“We cannot make ventilators or build field hospitals, but we can help organisations on the frontline get their message out to the public, Government and employees. We have a small army of industry expert volunteers who are willing and able to help, no matter how big or small your challenge. Please just get in touch via our website and spread the word to your colleagues.”
