Tristan Fitzgerald Associates (TFA) has announced the full-time hire of James Lancaster as Director. Lancaster will be responsible for delivering all TFA public affairs activities nationally through the firm’s Reading, Leeds, London and Bristol offices.
Lancaster was previously Campaign Director for the former Bristol Mayor, George Ferguson, and his experience also spans JBP and the Country Land & Business Association. He will be based in the TFA’s Bristol office.
TFA is now in its 26th year and has recently secured significant new instructions including Bosch and The Game Fair as well as political engagement work for major housebuilders both at a local and national level.
TFA will be supporting Bosch with the delivery of their public affairs objectives across the UK. The appointment follows the addition of Alex Watson and Oliver Melzack to their public affairs and stakeholder engagement team.
James Lancaster commented: “I am delighted to join TFA. We are further expanding our work in Westminster whilst continuing to focus on regional engagement. As we see more and more devolution in the UK it is important that organisations recognise the importance of interacting with decision makers that are not just based in the Westminster village.”
Managing Director, Dan Angell said: "James' appointment underpins our growth and focus on delivering a public policy offering to clients through local knowledge coupled with national focus. The company is committed to acquiring and developing public policy and local engagement teams in every office. Our belief is that being close to clients and understanding their local as well as national challenges enables us to add further value and provide an integrated offering."
