Fast-growing European public affairs and strategic communications group, Rud Pedersen, has added to its recently opened London office with the appointment of Katie Frank as Associate Director. Katie previously served as coordinator of the influential Parliamentary caucus of so-called ‘Red Wall’ Conservative MPs, the Northern Research Group (NRG).

As Rud Pedersen scales up its UK team of public affairs specialists, Katie Frank brings experience of policy and campaigns work with Members of the European and Scottish Parliaments in addition to her time at Westminster, as well as a successful stint at Portland Communications.

Rud Pedersen’s UK Managing Partner Jon Aarons commented “Given the central role that Katie has been playing, as a lynchpin for the Red Wall members, and with particular focus on the Levelling-Up agenda, we’re very fortunate to have enlisted her at this turbulent time in British politics. We’re confident that our UK and international clients will quickly see the benefits of her experience in navigating a fast-changing landscape.”

Katie Frank added “In the post-referendum period of recent years, I’ve been privileged with a window seat on the discourse in Brussels, Holyrood and Westminster. I’m excited about returning now to advise the private sector on its contribution to the complex and shifting UK political field, joining an ambitious independent firm that’s freshly minted in London, but with a 20-year record of success across northern Europe.”
