PubAffairs Ltd, the network for public affairs, policy, government relations & communications practitioners, has been selected as a Finalist in the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) Hertfordshire Business Awards 2014.
PubAffairs has been shortlisted in the ‘St Albans Business of the Year’ category, one of the 16 awards which will be handed out at the 12 June Gala dinner at Shendish Manor Hotel.
The last 12 months has seen significant growth for the PubAffairs network including the launch of a new market-leading website housing the Jobs Board for the sector, news pages and information about the public affairs industry together with help and advice through the GraduateForward sub-brand for students, graduates and junior-level job seekers.
Regular PubAffairs Westminster and Edinburgh networking events enable a broad range of practitioners, service providers and suppliers to engage with their peers.
PubAffairs Founder & Director, Phil Murphy said: “I’m genuinely overwhelmed and thrilled that PubAffairs has been shortlisted for a FSB Hertfordshire Business Award. PubAffairs is a micro-business with a huge UK-wide reputation within the public affairs and government communications sector, and to be recognised for our business achievements is simply outstanding.
When I originally set up the business in 2006, one of the very first things I did was to join the FSB, and now to be nominated for an Award bearing the organisation’s name is a real honour.”
