St Albans-based PubAffairs Ltd, the network for public affairs, policy, government relations and communications practitioners, has been shortlisted as a Finalist in the ‘Business of the Year’ category of the Inspiring Hertfordshire Awards 2015. The Business of the Year category recognises “the Hertfordshire based company that can demonstrate high levels of growth and a robust plan for sustainable financial performance”.

The Inspiring Hertfordshire Awards have been running since 2012 and are organised by the Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce which has been representing businesses in the County since 1924. The Awards celebrate success and achievement and boost business confidence in Hertfordshire.

2015 was a record year for entries with over 150 businesses taking up the challenge to enter the most prestigious awards campaign in the County. Award winners will be announced at the Gala Dinner taking place at the prestigious Porsche Centre Hatfield on Thursday 14 May.

Phil Murphy, Founder & Director of PubAffairs said “We’ve had a terrific year and I’m absolutely thrilled and humbled that PubAffairs has been recognised by the judging panel as being one of the best businesses in the area. We feel genuinely honoured also to be the only St Albans firm to be shortlisted in the Business of the Year category”.

Chamber Chairman, Neville Reyner CBE DL, said "We have been overwhelmed by the response to these awards. The quality of the entries was most impressive and presented an almost impossible challenge for the judges”.
