With just a handful of games left in the season, Mourinho’s men (or bus(es), depending who you ask) opened the door for Manchester City to ruin the Liverpool dream which was almost starting to look possible.

For a lesson in consolidation at the top, perhaps Brendan Rodgers should have turned to Joshua Willison (Partnership Manager, The Crown Estate). What was a 65 point lead at the end of March has extended to a 100+ point lead at the end of April. It will take something special for David Leach (Government Affairs Manager, Marks and Spencer) to catch Willison now as we enter the final two weeks of the season.

There were also good months for Talal Rajab (Business Relations Manager, Industry and Parliament Trust), Tom Gatzen (Parliamentary Assistant, House of Commons) and Benji Inwood (External Affairs Executive, The Advertising Association) as they all returned to the PubAffairs Fantasy League elite group, whilst Alan Gillam (Senior Parliamentary Researcher, Office of Gregg McClymont MP) lifts himself up into the top ten for the first time this season.

April sees a tie for the Manager of the Month honour, as both Andrew Georgiou (Customer PR Officer, E.ON UK) and Alan Gillam scored 274 points.
