With the halfway point of the season having been and gone, both the Premier League and PubAffairs League are beginning to settle down. As is becoming familiar, David Leach leads Joshua Willison (Partnership Manager, The Crown Estate) at the top of the table where he has remained since November.

Talal Rajab (Business Relations Manager, Industry and Parliament Trust) leaps from 9th place into 3rd thanks to the unrelenting “SAS” (Suarez and Sturridge) up front, and we have a new Manager in Arran Russell (Political Research Team Leader, DeHavilland) breaking into the top 10, unsurprisingly also thanks to the deadly Liverpool strike force.

Talal Rajab’s rise into 3rd place was reflected in his league-high score of 276 points for January, just two points ahead of Andrew Lewin (Associate Director, Fishburn Hedges). As well as Liverpool’s “SAS”, Rajab benefitted from good months for Arsenal duo Cazorla and Sagna as well as the sensational return to form of Adam Johnson, who clearly has his eye on a World Cup spot.
