At the end of a Christmas period which has left Football Managers as fatigued as the players themselves, the PubAffairs Premier League is starting to look very familiar at the top. As at the end of November, David Leach remains at the peak above title-challenger Joshua Willison (Partnership Manager, The Crown Estate) from whom he stole the lead in November.

There is only one newcomer in the top 10 at the end of December as September’s Manager of the Month Mike Forster (Senior Parliamentary Researcher, House of Commons) moves up to tenth place.

David Leach is also the recipient of December’s Manager of the Month, retaining his place at the top of the league by cumulating 445 points over a hectic festive period. Points came not only from a front line of Rooney, Lukaku and captain Suarez, but from in-form wing-back Coleman and midfielders Yaya Touré, Hazard and Walcott.
