Political monitoring firm PoliMonitor has appointed Michael Clarke as its Managing Director. Michael has been with PoliMonitor since October 2023 as interim COO, having previously led rival monitoring firm DeHavilland.

This promotion means Michael will now take on the day-to-day operations of the business including business development, client services and content creation. PoliMonitor co-founder and CEO Sam Cunningham will remain in place while focusing on long term business strategy, strategic partnerships and service development.

PoliMonitor has seen significant interest post-pandemic, achieving double digital revenue growth for the past three years, growing their team and service provision and moving to the iconic riverside offices of Millbank Tower, a stones throw from the Palace of Westminster.

Commenting on his new appointment PoliMonitor co-founder and CEO Sam Cunningham said “Michael has proven he has the skills and knowledge to ensure our next three years are as successful as the last few, and crucially attracting and retaining talented people from the industry who are needed for PoliMonitor to grow.

Michael Clarke commented “I had admired PoliMonitor from afar for some time, so it's great to be taking up the reins of this fast growing company and ensure it reaches its potential as the UK's top political monitoring firm."
