Message Matters, the strategic communications business based in Edinburgh and operating UK-wide, has announced new appointments as it moves into its 6th year of operation.
The agency, which delivers integrated communications in media relations, political relations and campaigns, has announced two new Associates to work alongside its Founding Directors and Senior Counsel.
Gareth Brown joins the team from the UK Government, having previously worked for the SDLP in Northern Ireland and been acting Chief Executive of the Scottish Youth Parliament. He has a track-record in public policy analysis and stakeholder engagement.
Louise Robertson joins from Arts & Business Scotland, having worked for 15 years in broadcast journalism and in public relations and public affairs roles for the League Against Cruel Sports, OneKind and Thompsons Solicitors, proving to be an effective campaigner and communicator.
Louise and Gareth join founding Directors Peter Duncan and Andy Maciver, Associate Kirsty Leiper and Senior Counsel Marco Biagi and Tom Harris as the team for 2017.
The agency's founding ethos is to ensure that all work is carried out by senior staff, and these appointments ensure that this unique quality is enhanced.
Commenting, Andy Maciver said "This is, without question, our strongest team to date. Our key selling point as a supplier of media relations and political relations services is that all clients receive the senior support of people who have been in the industry for many years. We're very satisfied as we celebrate 5 years of trading that we have never been better positioned to offer existing and new clients with the service they have come to expect since 2012."
