Many well-known industry faces congregated at the Ellwood Atfield Gallery for the launch of the third edition of Lionel Zetter’s Lobbying: The Art of Political Persuasion.
The evening, generously hosted by the industry leading recruitment firm Ellwood Atfield, was also an opportunity to celebrate Zetter’s 60th birthday with friends and colleagues spanning his thirty years in the public affairs industry. Steven Atack delivered a This Is Your Life themed presentation with contributions from Malcolm Tyndall, Francis Ingham and Simon Elliott amongst others. Much to the amusement of the audience (and the shock of Zetter), a series of photos accompanied Atack’s recollection of his life and were joined by video tributes from various old colleagues who couldn't make it as well as from within the Palace of Westminster.
The climax of the presentation saw Atack present Zetter with a letter from the Prime Minister, wishing him a Happy Birthday and thanking him for his services to the Conservative party over the years.
