Leading corporate reputation consultancy Fourtold has announced the hire of communications expert Frederique Luca to support its rapid expansion in Brussels.
Luca brings over ten years’ in-house and consultancy experience. She will help spearhead the consultancy’s growth in Brussels and play a leading role on its award-winning work with the European Crop Protection Association (ECPA). Fourtold’s work with ECPA won the ‘Best In-house Agency Collaboration’ award at the 2016 European Public Affairs Awards (EuroPAwards).
Luca joins from Cambre Associates where she worked with international clients including the European Chemical Industry Council (CEFIC), Dow Corning, Medtronic, and the Mission of China to the EU. Prior to this, she held in-house roles in prominent industry associations including FuelsEurope and The European Technology and Travel Services Association (ETTSA).
Fourtold Managing Partner Debbie Parriss said: “We are very excited Frederique is joining our team in Brussels, where she has a deserved reputation for smart, effective work as well as a great network.
“Her arrival will further deepen our ability to support organisations needing top notch Brussels insights and support, particularly our clients based in the UK and the USA.”
Commenting on her appointment, Luca said: “Dealing with complex reputational challenges requires a combination of audience insights, technology and creative strategy. Fourtold’s senior experts draw from a range of disciplines and I’m delighted to add my skills and experience to help continue to deliver work that accomplishes client goals.”
The company has also announced it has added former New York Times and Dow Jones correspondent Paul Meller to its team in Brussels as a media consultant. Meller previously worked as communications director at Digital Europe and held a senior communications role at IBM.
Finally, Amy Johnson, Fourtold’s Paris-based Partner, has relocated to Boston (USA), adding a new dimension to Fourtold’s services and footprint. She will continue to support Fourtold’s work with ECPA as well as grow the consultancy’s activities in North America. The agency operates from London and Brussels and has a network of associates across Europe.
