James Frith, a former ‘Red Wall’ MP, has joined London-based Atticus Communications as Senior Counsel.
Frith, Labour MP for Bury North from 2017-2019, lost his seat to the Conservative Party by just 105 votes in December 2019, leaving the constituency of Bury North the smallest majority seat in the country at 0.2%. He will be engaged across Atticus Communications’ varied client base, contributing first-hand public affairs insight and counsel on the workings of Westminster across the public policy debate.
Leon Cook, Founder, Atticus Communications, said:
“I am thrilled that James is joining Atticus at this critical time. James’ reputation across the House of Commons and the impact he has made in Parliament, as well as his work as a local MP whilst elected, is well known. James’ experience as a Select Committee member, Northern MP and businessperson is an exciting prospect for us and our clients.”
