James Halden, one of the country’s youngest councilors, has joined Curtin&Co as an Account Executive. A member of the Conservative Council in Thurrock Unitary Council, Halden was first elected at 19, and was appointed to the front bench after just eight months.

Established in 2009, Curtin&Co’s consultants are dominated by politicians and former politicians. Halden, who has a Masters in Law and a degree in Politics, is the latest councillor to join the team.

Curtin&Co CEO, Tom Curtin said: “It’s great to have James on board and to add to our existing roster of political consultants. I am sure his experience as an Essex councillor and experience of hugely significant planning projects in the Thames Gateway will be valuable to many of our clients over the coming months”.

James Halden added: “I am delighted to join Curtin&Co. As a unitary councillor with experience on so many projects with national significance I am eager to use my knowledge and background to contribute to this fantastic team’s track record of community engagement”.
