Connect Communications have announced five new hires after a period of fast growth. The company changed ownership earlier this year in a management buy-out that saw Directors Sarah King, Laura Blake and Andy Sawford take the helm.
The new consultants have expanded Connect’s team at various levels. Louise Page Jennings has joined as an Account Manager after time working at Bellenden (now Newington) and for the Honourable Artillery Company. A planning and local government specialist, she will work closely with existing and new planning clients as well as a diverse range of national public affairs accounts.
Tessa Tyler Todd joins as a Senior Account Executive, bringing experience of working for the Stronger In campaign and prior to this in an in-house role at the National Citizens Service. Fenella Nance, Esther Dowle and Campbell Thomson have joined as Account Executives to provide support for Connect's growing client base. Thomson has moved from Scotland where he was an SNP activist.
The new hires have been accompanied by promotions for Chris Russell and Leonie Blakeway, who become Account Managers and Rob Dale who has been made a Senior Account Manager.
Connect's recent client wins include the National Citizen's Service, the Institute of Fundraising, Rugby free schools, Carebase and Midland Heart.
Andy Sawford, Managing Partner, said: "We are delighted to welcome Louise, Tessa, Fenella, Esther and Campbell to the team and we are confident that they will do a great job working with our current clients and helping us to continue to grow the business. They are joining the company at an exciting time as we help our clients engage with Theresa May's government, a new Mayor of London, Brexit discussions and many other changes."
