Former Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) President, Jason MacKenzie, has joined Westminster-based political communications consultancy College Green Group as director of strategic development. MacKenzie comes to the group from corporate affairs agency Nudge Factory, where he was managing partner.
MacKenzie is an elections and campaigns specialist, and will work alongside founding director Thomas Borwick, who was chief technical officer for the Vote Leave campaign. MacKenzie is also a visiting industry fellow in public relations at Birmingham City University.
"I’m joining College Green Group at a time of significant expansion, geographically and domestically. I was drawn by the group’s extensive and impressive political consulting experience, including its focus on digital campaigning and data-driven insights” he said.
Borwick added: "Jason’s appointment broadens the team’s capabilities across corporate, commercial and campaigning spheres. He will work closely with me, the rest of the senior team, and our business development lead, Matthew Carter-Burwell, to expand College Green Group’s reach and build the business with strategic intent.”
