WA Health, the rapidly growing specialist arm of WA Communications, has announced that senior consultant Caroline Gordon will be joining as a Director in June.
Gordon will join Head of Health Jenny Ousbey to support WA’s ambition to become a major player in the health public affairs and communications market. The hire follows a hugely successful year for the practice, including major client wins and high profile awards.
Gordon brings significant experience in health policy, consultancy, politics and the voluntary sector. Having started her career as a campaigner in charities including Mencap and Mind, she worked as a political adviser to a government minister and local council leaders. She has spent ten years in consultancy, latterly as an Associate Director at Incisive Health, and has specialised in healthcare campaigns, strategic counsel and the development of high performing teams.
Announcing the appointment, Jenny Ousbey, Head of Health, said: “We’re thrilled Caroline is joining our Health practice at such an exciting time. She brings a wealth of experience and I have no doubt this will further strengthen our creative, dynamic and insightful service offer to clients.”
Commenting on the announcement, Caroline said: “I’m delighted to be joining Jenny and the team at WA Health as a Director. WA Health has made a real impact in the market over the past year, and I’ve been hugely impressed with their dynamic and creative approach. I can’t wait to get started.”
