Cambre Associates has announced the appointments of Helen Oberg and Blanche Lermite to the Brussels-based consultancy in a move that will further strengthen its healthcare and chemicals practices.

Helen Oberg will lead the healthcare team, and previously worked for a global public affairs and communications consultancy where she ran pan-European and Brussels-based campaigns for major corporations, the European Commission and NGOs. Oberg also worked at the Council of the European Union and the European Institute of Public Affairs, and has strong policy experience in both healthcare and chemicals. A Swedish national, Oberg’s expertise also includes internal and external corporate communications, marketing and event management.

Blanche Lermite will provide public affairs support to clients in the chemical and environment fields. Lermite has five years of experience in European public affairs and previously ran the public affairs and reputation activities of a leading EU trade association representing a consumer goods sector. She has also worked for French regional authorities dealing with chemicals and aeronautics.

Tom Parker, Managing Director, commented on both hires: “We’re excited to welcome Helen and Blanche to the Cambre team as we begin a fresh chapter of development and expansion.”

Helen Oberg said: “It is an honour to be part of the Cambre team. My entire career has been spent in the Public Affairs and Communications industry and I am looking forward to continuing that tradition with my new colleagues.”

Blanche Lermite commented: “I have been impressed by the excellent service and reputation of the team at Cambre in delivering top class public affairs and public relations strategies. I am delighted to join them and help build upon this success."
