David Porter OBE, former CEO of Energy UK, has been appointed Chairman of Brevia Energy and a member of the Brevia Consulting Advisory Board.David Porter

Brevia Energy, a dedicated division of Brevia Consulting, has a longstanding reputation for expertise and experience in the UK energy sector. The division advises energy businesses of all sizes from innovative start-ups to global corporations.

David Porter has been dealing with UK energy policy issues for 25 years and is well-known as a trade association Chief Executive and a commentator on energy issues in the press, radio, TV and at conferences. In 2007, he was appointed OBE by Her Majesty the Queen, for services to the Power Generation Industry. In his new role, Porter will assist Brevia in developing its presence in the energy sector including providing insight into the energy marketplace, networking, and new business development.
