BECG has further strengthened its offer to clients with the appointment of two new strategic advisors, providing significant experience and expertise across the development sector.
As a market leader in communications for the built environment, BECG advise some of the UK’s largest developers, infrastructure and transport bodies, and energy companies on their engagement with decision-makers and communities across the UK.
Julian Bell was one of London’s longest serving Council Leaders, having successfully led the borough of Ealing – the 4th largest in London – until earlier this year, overseeing a huge period of change during his 11 years in charge. During that time, Julian has transformed Ealing, encouraging outside investment to improve the borough’s infrastructure and deliver major regeneration projects.
Julian currently serves as a member of Transport for London’s Board and has been active in the national and London Labour Party for over 25 years, building up extensive political networks and a detailed knowledge of transport infrastructure, regeneration, planning, and estate regeneration.
Judith Salomon is an expert in planning strategy, communications, and stakeholder engagement with experience in delivering complex and significant planning permissions across London.
Judith has an extensive network across London, City Hall, and government built up over nearly 30 years working at CBRE, London First, the Berkeley Group, Pocket Living, and currently with EcoWorld.
Max Camplin, Board Director at BECG, commented:
“Julian and Judith bring with them two of the best political and planning minds in the industry. Both have unique experience and understanding of the political and policy environment in which our clients operate.”
“We are delighted that Julian and Judith are joining our respected and award-winning team of consultants, delivering the best and sharpest counsel in the industry."
