Atticus Partners have announced a raft of new senior hires following Labour’s General Election victory.
They include Paul Sinclair and Suzy Stride as Senior Counsel, and Craig Davidson as Associate Director.
Paul previously worked under the last Labour administration, latterly as a Political Adviser to Gordon Brown in 10 Downing Street and as a Special Adviser to Douglas Alexander in Trade. A former journalist, he was a member of the Westminster and Holyrood lobbies.
Suzy has been working in Labour party politics and policy for over 20 years including working as a Special Advisor for the Shadow Cabinet and standing for Parliament in Harlow in 2015. She currently advises education charities and is a regular commentator on GB News.
Craig is a former newspaper journalist and Scottish Labour political adviser, having advised Scottish Labour Leader Johann Lamont during the 2014 Scottish independence referendum. Since moving into the corporate world he has worked with some of the world’s biggest companies and organisations, including Huawei, ABB, Mars, FIFA and AstraZeneca.
Following the announcement, co-founder Leon Cook said:
"Atticus continues to grow from strength to strength, and we’re delighted to bring on board Paul, Suzi and Craig so we can use their experience to advise clients on the new government’s priorities and the best way to engage with them".
Today’s announcement follows another strong year of growth for Atticus Partners, who have recently won clients including Open Banking and Ericsson, and also provide support to Match Group and leading technology company DXC.
This is the latest move by Atticus to strengthen its Labour offering, having also hired former National Director of the Jewish Labour Movement Ella Rose last autumn.
