Airbus Group have added Simon Astley and Tom Page to their UK Government Relations Team as Head of Government Affairs and Public Affairs Manager respectively.
The “global leader in aerospace, defence and related services” has appointed Astley with the overall responsibility for all government and political contact in the UK. He joins from Balfour Beatty where he was Head of Public Affairs, and has previously spent ten years at BAE Systems.
Tom Page joins Airbus from Interel where he was a Senior Political Consultant within their defence and security practice since the 2010 General Election. Page began his career in Westminster where he worked for a variety of Labour Members of Parliament.
