This morning, the Prime Minister announced that a General Election will be held on the 8th June 2017, commenting that the United Kingdom needs certainty, leadership, and stability.
Tomorrow, a vote will be held in the House of Commons on a motion to approve the election, which requires a two thirds majority for it to pass. However, given the other parties in Westminster have come out to support the snap election it is almost guaranteed to pass.
