The PubAffairs network numbers over 4,000 members and is free to join. PubAffairs operates a general e-Newsletter, as well as a number of other specific group e-Newsletters which are also available to join by completing our registration form.

The PubAffairs e-Newsletters are used to keep members informed about upcoming PubAffairs events and networking opportunities, job vacancies, public affairs news, training courses, stakeholder events, publications, discount offers and other pieces of useful information related to the public affairs and communications industry.

Working at Invicta, you can expect to meet with the Senior Team regularly to ensure that you are receiving the support that you need and your salary will be reviewed annually. We would expect the successful candidate to progress from an Account Executive to an Account Manager within two years of their appointment. Our salary progression structure is as follows:

  • Account Executive: £25,000 – £35,000 (depending on experience);
  • Account Manager: £35,000 – £45,000.

THE ROLE

As an Account Executive, you will:

  • Deliver political and community engagement services to companies, and carry out research and intelligence gathering that will be used to inform political and community engagement strategies;
  • You will support the Accounts Team in delivering our communication strategies for our clients;
  • The role will also require involvement in event planning and organisation;
  • You will also look after systems and records;
  • You will manage supplier relationships such as designers, web designers and photographers.

This is a varied role that would suit anyone with a passion for politics and who has previous experience in:

  • A public affairs agency;
  • Experience in a parliamentary office or political support/research role;
  • Or for someone looking to move from public relations into a role with a more political focus.
