From the increasing use of digital public services to the rise of social media, politics and public affairs is now a very different world from what it was a decade ago.
With technology changing the way we conduct elections, deliver government policy and how we campaign on issues, this event will explore what is next for the future of the industry, and how digitalisation will change the political world in the coming years. We’ll hear from a range of exciting speakers including:
- Daniel Korski, former SpAd and CEO of PUBLIC;
- Ellen Judson, Head of CASM, the digital research hub at thinktank Demos;
- Sam Cunningham, Founder of PoliMonitor;
- Christine Quigley, Director, Public Affairs, Grayling;
- Pierre Andrews, Head of Policy, Digital Tories.
We'll have a wide-ranging discussion exploring the various aspects of the topic, from the increase in the use of Twitter to the growth of digital tech across Government institutions and the rise of the virtual Public Affairs agency.
The event will also see the CIPR Public Affairs Group’s AGM held in the first half hour. The AGM is an opportunity to review the Group’s plans for 2023 and for individuals to join the 2023 Committee. If you’d like to find out more about joining the Public Affairs Group Committee, please contact Max Sugarman.
