The PubAffairs network numbers over 4,000 members and is free to join. PubAffairs operates a general e-Newsletter, as well as a number of other specific group e-Newsletters which are also available to join by completing our registration form.

Join the Network

As a Policy Advisor for a leading trade body you will have proven policy development and public affairs experience. Working across a range of policy areas you will be liaising with external stakeholders from government departments (including Transport, Treasury and Justice) and think tanks to FTSE 100 financial services businesses. You demonstrate the ability to analyse complex policy issues and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

As a Policy Advisor you will demonstrate:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills;
  • Public affairs or public policy experience gained in either a trade association, consultancy or central government;
  • Media judgement and the confidence to do radio/broadcast media interviews;
  • Self-starter with a flexible and collaborative approach.

Working for an organisation representing a high profile industry you can expect earn £45,000 to £50,000 plus benefits for this London based role.
