Curtin&Co has today announced that Paul Church, a Conservative councillor on the flagship Westminster City Council, has joined its public affairs team as an Account Manager. Church will immediately join the specialists in community liaison, local government politics and media relations for the development industry.

Councillor Church currently sits on the Westminster Planning Committee and is Deputy Cabinet Member for Children and Young People.

Tom Curtin, who founded Curtin&Co in 2008, said: “Paul is a great addition to our team and will continue to strengthen our expertise in central London.

"His experience on Westminster Council, as well as working in central government for the Rt Hon Priti Patel MP and Helen Grant MP, means he understands the most pertinent issues facing the development industry from all levels of government and we have no doubt that his advice will greatly benefit our clients and their projects.”

Curtin&Co's continued success and expansion has also seen a number of internal promotions, including former-Enfield Conservative councillor Henry Lamprecht's promotion from Account Manager to Associate Director.

Commenting on the recent success which has seen Curtin&Co rise to number 8 in the PR Week Top 100 Public Affairs Companies, Managing Director Catherine Senda added: “Curtin&Co has always had a policy of promoting from within and this year has seen a number of our consultants excel. The promotions are recognition of the exceptional quality of work and service which has been produced for our clients and we are delighted to be able to recognise the strength of our team.”
