Community consultation specialist Curtin&Co has been appointed by Land Securities to deliver a communication and public affairs strategy for its Ebbsfleet project.
Land Securities is one of the key developers of the Ebbsfleet project and the biggest developer in the country, with a property portfolio worth £9.7 billion. Curtin&Co will be supporting the internal Land Securities team as it works with the community and officials to deliver the government backed development.
Chancellor George Osborne announced in March that Ebbsfleet - including Land Securities’ sites - would be a key priority in testing the coalition government's policy of building garden cities by planning to spend £200m to build 15,000 new homes in the area in response to the urgent housing shortage in the South East.
Catherine Worboys, Curtin&Co Managing Director, said “The proposals announced for Ebbsfleet in the Chancellor’s budget are recognition of the need to provide more high-quality housing across the South East. Curtin&Co will be working with Land Securities to develop and deliver the best possible outcome on its sites in order to help make the vision for Ebbsfleet a reality.”
