DevoConnect's ‘Engaging with Metro Mayors’ training will give you a thorough understanding of the UK's new devolved institutions and practical advice on how to work with the new Metro Mayors.
Why should you attend?
Politics in the UK is changing. With 19 million people across the county now benefiting from having a city-region Mayor and a minority government preoccupied with a Brexit-dominated agenda, it is time for public affairs and communications professionals to look beyond Westminster. When political direction and purpose is lacking nationally, devolution presents a new opportunity to rethink your approach and do public affairs differently.
Find out:
- WHERE Metro Mayors fit in with local government and Westminster;
- HOW to engage with Metro Mayors and Combined Authorities;
- WHO are the key players in the devolved regions;
- WHAT is next for devolution and how should your organisation engage in the future.
